If you’re on a mac, discount rx and are running Mavericks Server, you might run into some issues with ownCloud. Specifically for me, I had the web client working fine, but when I tried to install the computer client, and the iPhone client, it would say that it couldn’t authenticate against my server.

To get ownCloud to work, you have to disable the Mac’s webdav by using the following command:

sudo webappctl stop com.apple.webapp.webdavsharing
